Getting It Together

On Sunday at Susie's house in Leura, the finishing touches were made to this years raffle quilt. Susie worked furiously sewing on the binding while Moyra and Robyn drank tea and devoured Steve's delicious homemade cheesecake.

The next step was taking sides to begin the hand sewing of the binding. Susie's cat, Bella became curious and came in from the heat of the day to examine the handiwork.

By mid afternoon the task was complete and Steve helped hang the quilt for a few photos.

The quilt looks fabulous with meticulous quilting by Susie. Tickets are on sale soon at local patchwork shops and available from committee members.

  6. Sorry, off-topic for the blog post ...

Does anyone know where I can get 505 basting spray locally? The only Aussie shops I've found that stock it are interstate and can't post it due to Australia Post regulations (spray cans).

    Thank you.

  7. Hi Ronsondalby, I've bought 505 spray from Penrith Patchwork Folklore. Give them a call to see if they have some.
