On the same Saturday Springwood celebrates Foundation Day.
Springwood Foundation Day represents a huge day for the lower Blue Mountains community to participate in the festival that celebrates the spirit of our town.
The main road is closed to traffic from 7 am to 5 pm, allowing pedestrians to enjoy over 80 stalls, live entertainment including 3 main stages with 25+ performances on the day, rides for the kiddies & much, much more.

But wait - there's more!! Also on over the same weekend is an exhibition of textile arts called Textiles out Of Context. The rooms of Braemar House Gallery will be filled with innovative works of quilts, weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet, costume design, millinary and more.
The opening for the exhibition is Saturday 8th April at 5.30pm, everyone is welcome to attend.
The exhibition is then on until 30th April, with the gallery being open on Thursday-Sundays 10-4pm.
