2 more quilt filled days to go!

I'm sure everyone who attended our first day of the show agree it was a fun day for all!!

There was a crowd of keen quilt goers waiting as the door opened. 

But it didn't take long for people to buy tickets and make their way into the hall of quilts. 

Within minutes the shops were buzzing with happy shoppers. 

Don't worry though, there's still lots of great goodies left for the weekend.

 

The show is a non-juried show however there is a Viewer's Choice prize awarded each day of the show.  Every visitor gets to nominate their favourite quilt. It's a great way to let a quilter know how much you like their work.

Today's winning quilt is called Venice Rose and was pieced and quilted by Carolyn Stanton.

The description reads " Inspired by a quilt called St mark's Wall Hanging in last years show. Subtitles "Who's afraid of Colour". The designer of the quilt is Norah McMeeking, Bella Bella Quilts.
